This policy explains how information is handled when you use Shia Knowledge Challenge. We respect your privacy and aim to minimize data collection.
Privacy at a glance
Shia Knowledge Challenge can be used as a guest or with an optional account. The app stores quiz progress and related learning data in Supabase so that your results and statistics can be available across sessions. AlmobairikDevs does not sell your personal information and does not use your data for advertising.
Guest use
You can use the app without signing in. When you use the app as a guest, quiz attempts, answers, scores, streaks, progress, and learning statistics may be stored in Supabase. If you later sign in, your guest progress may be merged with your signed-in account so that you can continue from where you left off.
Google and Apple sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, the app receives the email address and display name made available through the selected sign-in service. Authentication is handled using Google or Apple together with Supabase. Google and Apple may independently process information according to their own privacy policies.
Quiz and learning data
The app stores information needed to provide its quiz and learning features, including quiz attempts, submitted answers, scores, results, streaks, progress, and learning statistics. This information is associated with your guest session or signed-in account and is used to provide your history, progress, and learning features.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, the app may send general notifications about quizzes, content, or app updates. A push-notification device token and the device platform, such as iOS or Android, may be stored in Supabase for notification delivery. Notification delivery may use Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Third-party services
The app uses Supabase for authentication and backend data storage, Google and Apple for optional sign-in, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service for notifications, and the Apple App Store and Google Play for distribution. These providers may independently process technical or account information under their own privacy policies.
No advertising or analytics
Shia Knowledge Challenge does not use third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics services. AlmobairikDevs does not sell your personal information or quiz activity.
Device access
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or device files for its normal operation. The platform associated with a notification token may be stored only as needed to deliver notifications correctly.
Data retention and account deletion
Account and quiz data may be retained while you use the service so that your progress and statistics remain available. You may request deletion by contacting almobams1@gmail.com. After a valid deletion request, we will delete the account and associated quiz history, progress, learning statistics, and stored notification token from our backend, subject to any limited retention required by law or legitimate security obligations.

The app is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, contact us at almobams1@gmail.com so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Shia Knowledge Challenge, its services, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
