This policy explains how information is handled when you use Khums Calculator. We respect your privacy and aim to minimize data collection.
Privacy at a glance
Khums Calculator does not require an account and does not collect personal, financial, or calculator data. Your calculations and saved records remain on your device.
Calculator inputs
Amounts, opening balances, exemptions, custom items, and notes that you enter are processed locally on your device to prepare the approximate calculation you request. This information is not transmitted to AlmobairikDevs.
Saved Khums years and local storage
Khums years, item details, notes, and calculated totals are stored locally so you can return to them later. They remain on your device until you delete the relevant records or remove the app. AlmobairikDevs cannot access this locally stored information.
PDF export and sharing
When you choose to create, save, or share a PDF summary, the app performs that action at your direction. AlmobairikDevs does not receive the PDF. A copy shared with another app, person, or service is handled according to the destination you select.
No advertising or tracking
Khums Calculator does not collect your app activity for advertising, profiling, or tracking, and AlmobairikDevs does not sell or share your calculator information.
Religious calculation guidance
The calculations are approximate guidance and are not a final religious determination. You should review the final amounts and fulfilment of the obligation with the office of your Marja or an authorized representative.
Apple and device services
Apple and your device operating system may independently process download, purchase, technical, or diagnostic information when they distribute or operate the app. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms and device settings and is not controlled by AlmobairikDevs.
Support messages
If you contact us by email, outside the app, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it only to respond and provide support and retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose and applicable legal obligations.
Children’s privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Calculator data remains on the device and is not received by AlmobairikDevs.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Khums Calculator, its features, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
